About “Roman Holiday” (1953)

Roman Holiday is light, charming movie about a princess who runs away from her royal duties and goes incognito for a day while visiting Rome on an official tour, and has the time of her life. A reporter and news photographer take her out sightseeing and plan on making a huge profit by selling an exclusive story about her. The movie is the kind of old Hollywood magic that has the perfect blend of humour, heart, and charm using a light hearted story about good natured people. “Roman Holiday” features Audrey Hepburn in her first film role, Gregory Peck, and Eddie Albert.
